Veteran CB Eric Wright posted a picture on his Twitter account of him signing a contract with the 49ers, so it appears as though he will be back for another season.
- Matt Barrows reports that the 49ers are signing him to a one-year deal.
San Francisco initially traded a late-round conditional pick for Buccaneers CB Eric Wright before a failed him nullified the deal. Tampa Bay subsequently placed him on waivers and the 49ers later signed him to a one-year deal.
Wright, 28, appeared in seven games last season and tallied just seven tackles and an interception.
