Buccaneers LT Donovan Smith Out 2-4 Weeks With Knee Sprain

Ian Rapoport reports that Buccaneers LT Donovan Smith suffered a sprained knee and is out 2-4 weeks.

Smith, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2015. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $6.068 million contract and set to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season.

Smith is in line to be an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

In 2017, Smith appeared in all 16 games for the Buccaneers and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 47 offensive tackle out of 79 qualifying players.

We’ll have more regarding Smith’s injury as the news is available.
