A.J. Green Could Be Out Until After The Bengals’ Week 4 Bye

According to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com, it looks like WR A.J. Green‘s injury won’t keep him out for an extended period of time.

Instead, Hobson mentions that “indications” are that Green’s MRI came back negative and he’s likely to be ready to return after the team’s Week 4 bye. Hobson adds that Green was not on crutches after sustaining the injury.

With Green out of the lineup, Andy Dalton threw for 252 yards while completing 65.2 percent of his passes to go along with a touchdown.

Cincinnati now has two solid wins to start the year, but it would be tough to move forward without Green in the lineup.

We’ll have more updates regarding Green’s status as the news is available.
