AFC North Notes: Browns, Ravens, Steelers

Browns

Ravens

Ravens GM Eric DeCosta said he was worried that the Eagles were going to WR Marquise Brown before they had the opportunity.

โ€œTo be honest, I was a little bit nervous that Philly might take [Brown],โ€ DeCosta said, via BaltimoreRavens.com. โ€œBut itโ€™s a calculated risk. We had some other players there that we liked. We like to make trades. It made sense to gamble, to roll the dice a little bit, so we did.โ€

Steelers

The Steelers made the decision to trade up to No. 10 overall to get LB Devin Bush on Thursday.

Steelers GM Kevin Colbert explained that they were “very, very excited” to get this kind of player.

โ€œAs an inside linebacker, his game is really predicated on what is needed to play the position in modern-day NFL football,โ€ Colbert said, via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. โ€œHe cannot only play the run he has exceptional cover abilities. Weโ€™re very, very excited to be able to move up and get a young player, a young man, like Devin Bush.โ€
