Colts HC Frank Reich, who was hired during the offseason, said he is “very glad” Patriots OC Josh McDaniels turned down the Indianapolis job.

Very glad about that,” Reich said, via ProFootballTalk. “Certainly very glad about that. It’s a funny league, strange circumstances, lot of things out of my control, so I can try to control the controllables and thankful for the opportunity that I have.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh said the return of Jimmy Smith creates a “good problem” for them at cornerback in terms of distributing playing time between Smith, Marlon HumphreyBrandon Carr and Tavon Young.

It’s a good problem to have, the fact that we’ll have another really good player playing corner, and we’ll have the chance to put another guy out there that can cover people,” Harbaugh said, via the Baltimore Sun. “I think who starts and all that is one thing, but really, they’re all going to play, and they’re going to play a lot, and that’s good for the Ravens.”
