Chargers

  • Michael Lombardi reports that the Chargers are in the mix to take a quarterback this year.
  • According to Lombardi, the Chargers hosted Louisville’s Lamar Jackson, Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield, Wyoming’s Josh Allen and Oklahoma State’s Mason Rudolph for visits this year.
  • Chargers DC Gus Bradley said Monday that Desmond King and Rayshawn Jenkins could fill in for them at free safety if needed. (Jack Wang)
  • Regarding re-signing veteran TE Antonio Gates, Telesco said they haven’t had much contact recently: “I just don’t have an update on it right now.” (Jack Wang)
