Bengals

  • Bengals LT Orlando Brown Jr. says that he re-aggravated his groin injury against the Seahawks but still plans to play against the 49ers. (Kelsey Conway)

Browns

  • Ian Rapoport reports that Browns RB Jerome Ford was diagnosed with a low-grade, high-ankle sprain that is expected to sideline him for one or two weeks.
  • Browns HC Kevin Stefanski on not putting QB Deshaun Watson back in the game: “I thought it was a big hit. Saw on the big screen. I just felt like the right thing for the team was to protect him.” (Scott Petrak)
  • Stefanski continued: “I’m really day-to-day. Probably sick of me saying that, but I really have to take the information as it’s given to me.” (Chris Easterling)
  • On the possibility of placing Watson on injured reserve, Stefanski: “Listen, he’s getting better. He’s a competitive kid. He’s working hard.” (Andrew Siciliano)

Ravens

  • Ravens HC John Harbaugh noted that RB Keaton Mitchell doesn’t have a significant hamstring strain and is considered week to week, with the best chance of returning in Week 9. (Jeff Zrebiec)
