Bills QB Josh Allen said the team has studied its latest playoff loss, learned from it, and is focused on continuing to give itself opportunities to break through.

“I mean, definitely we’ve watched it, we’ve put it in the past, we’ve learned from it,” Allen said, via PFT. “We’ve been in the playoffs a lot of times in the last however many years I’ve been here now. And just continuing to find ways to learn from it. It’s a hard pill to swallow sometimes because we haven’t gotten it done. But you knock enough at the door, it’s going to open at some point. That’s what we have to keep doing, is keep knocking on that door and giving ourselves chances to be in that situation again.”

Jets

Jets CB Brandon Stephens enters his second year on the team in 2026. New York HC Aaron Glenn said the cornerback looks like “a totally different player” this offseason. 

“When I say that, it’s the awareness of where the ball’s at when it’s in the air,” Glenn said, via Amanda Vogt of the team’s site. 

Stephens mentioned that they are putting a lot of focus on creating turnovers after New York finished last in the NFL in that category last year. 

“I mean, there’s only one way to work on interceptions and punching the ball out, it’s by doing it in practice,” Stephens said. “Whether that’s in individual drills or team periods, just always being conscious of the ball, where it’s at, and just, like I said, capitalizing when the opportunity presents itself.”

Patriots 

Patriots’ undrafted TE Tanner Arkin has been making an impact in training camp. New England LB Robert Spillane said Arkin is proving to be a physical player who can also contribute as a receiver. 

“He came in as a professional from Day 1,” Spillane said, via Mike Reiss of ESPN. “A very fluid athlete who loves playing football. A physical player who can also play in the pass game. He’s going to have a very, very bright future ahead of him.”

• Reiss notes that Arkin has been a surprise in training camp thus far and is getting reps with the first-team offense. 
• Patriots HC Mike Vrabel praised Arkin’s “competitive spirit” and how he hasn’t been overwhelmed by the amount of information he’s receiving. 
• Reiss mentioned that Arkin has also been experimenting with long-snapping.
