AFC Notes: Marlon Humphrey, Bengals, Browns, Ravens

Bengals

The Bengals could be without edge rushers Trey Hendrickson and Sam Hubbard in Week 11.

Bengals DC Lou Anarumo explained that their other players including Myles Murphy, Cam Sample and Joseph Ossai need to step up this week.

“It’s not just on them. I think they had really good moments,” Anarumo said, via Bengals.com. “But as a whole, that group needs to step up, especially, who knows, with Trey, if they’re both out, then those guys have to step up.”

Browns

  • ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that Browns CB Denzel Ward suffered a minor neck strain and is going to be fine going forward.
  • Browns HC Kevin Stefanski said QB Deshaun Watson will have an MRI on his left ankle and they’ll know more about his status on Wednesday. (Mary Kay Cabot)

Ravens

  • NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reports Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey suffered a lower calf strain and is considered day-to-day, with his status for this week remaining up in the air.
  • There had been some concern that Humphrey suffered an Achilles injury after going down without much contact, but Ravens HC John Harbaugh said both he and LT Ronnie Stanley are day-to-day and don’t have long-term injuries. (Jeff Zrebiec)
