Colts

Colts WR Deon Cain (ACL) said that he is will “probably” not be able to practice until August, which is around the start of training camp.

Jaguars

Jaguars HC Doug Marrone said he is excited to have his 2019 coaching staff in place after hiring John DeFilippo as offensive coordinator, George Warhop as offensive line coach and Terry Robiskie as running backs coach.

“It’s an exciting time, to be able to have everyone put everything in together,” Marrone said, via John Oehser of the team’s official site

Marrone added that he is working with his new offensive assistants to make a new playbook.

They’re all going to be part of putting together this offensive playbook that we’re going to be able to choose from,” Marrone said. “I look at it as a menu, then we’ll try to see what want to install: who do we have, what do we need to be good at, what we want to work on. Obviously, we want to be physical and we want to have explosive plays.

Titans

Titans HC Mike Vrabel explained that the decision to promote Arthur Smith to offensive coordinator is something they ultimately felt was best for QB Marcus Mariota.

“I think it’s what’s best for Marcus, and best for a lot of guys,” Vrabel said, via TitansOnline.com. “We make decisions that are for the best interest of the Titans, and Marcus is a huge part and so are all of our other players.

“This is the best thing for us, to continue down that path. We’re happy, I’m happy, and I am excited to give Arthur this opportunity and I know the coaches and players are excited as well.”
