Raiders
- According to Pat Leonard of the NY Daily News, the buzz at the Combine is Raiders HC Jon Gruden is preparing to make a huge splash when free agency opens on March 13.
- With three first round picks, loads of cap space and a roster bereft of star power, the Raiders could be in contention for stars like RB Le’Veon Bell and WRs Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham.
- The Athletic’s Vic Tafur says he heard the Raiders have asked the Cardinals what it would take to move up to No. 1.
- Tafur believes the Raiders will take a quarterback in the draft to try and develop, potentially someone like N.C. State’s Ryan Finley.
- Tafur doubts the Raiders will bring back G Kelechi Osemele, who’s due to make $10.2 million, especially after Oakland re-signed G Denzelle Good.
