Alabama DT Quinnen Williams Scheduled To Meet With Giants & Jets

Kimberly Jones reports that Alabama DT Quinnen Williams is scheduled to visit with the Jets and Giants in the coming days.

Williams is meeting with the Cardinals today along with Ohio State DE/OLB Nick Bosa. and has already visited with the 49ers and Raiders, so he’s covered the majority of the top-6 teams in this year’s draft.

The Jets have reportedly been looking to trade out of the No. 3 spot, but they could have a tough decision if they don’t get the right offer and Williams and Josh Allen are on the board for them.

As for the Giants, they’ve made it clear that they won’t force a quarterback at No. 6 overall, so it’s possible they strongly consider a different position. However, it would be somewhat surprising if Williams was still on the board at No. 6 overall.

Williams, 6-4, 289 lb, is widely considered to be one of the top prospects in the country and a likely top-5 overall pick in this year’s draft.

During his college career at Alabama, Williams recorded 91 tackles, 26 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks, and a pass defense over the course of two seasons and 24 games.
