All Other Patriots’ COVID-19 Tests Come Back Negative, Still Waiting On Chiefs’ Results

Adam Schefter reports that all other tests from Patriots players came back negative on Saturday after Cam Newton‘s positive test from Friday.

Schefter adds that the NFL is still waiting for the Chiefs’ test results after practice squad QB Jordan Ta’amu tested positive.

According to Tom Pelissero, the Patriots will conduct another round of testing Sunday morning and if they also come back negative, New England could travel to Kansas City on Monday to play the game.

The NFL has already made the decision to postpone Sunday’s game against the Chiefs with the intention of the game being played either Monday or Tuesday.

Should something happen where the game can’t be played in the coming days, the NFL will face some tougher decisions than when they opted to give the Steelers and Titans byes earlier in the week and move their matchup to Week 7.

We’ll have more regarding the Chiefs vs. Patriots game as the news is available.
