Beanie Wells Close To Being 100 Percent?

Cardinals RB Beanie Wells mentioned that he’s “ready to go right now.”

“It’s so boring sitting at home and watching the games on TV,” said Wells, via the Arizona Republic. “I wish I was out there. I feel like I’m ready to go right now. But I can’t until they activate me, so I’ve just been training really hard on my own, getting ready.

Wells has been bothered by a turf toe in recent weeks, which forced the team to place him on injured reserve with the designation to return. The earliest Wells can return is for their November 25th game against the St Louis Rams.

The Cardinals have been using a backfield that consists of La’Rod Stephens-Howling and William Powell in recent weeks, but a healthy Beanie Wells would be a welcomed addition to their offense. Offensive line remains their biggest issue, aside from the fact that they’re starting John Skelton, so it’s hard to say that his return would have a huge impact on their overall productivity.
