Bears Re-Signing CB Jacoby Glenn To Practice Squad

According to Zach Zaidman, the Bears have re-signed CB Jacoby Glenn to their practice squad.

Chicago decided to waive Glenn on Tuesday to make room for DB Demontre Hurstso it is clear to see that the team wanted to keep him around.

Glenn, 23,  signed on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Central Florida in 2015. He was unable to crack Chicago’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was quickly signed to the team’s practice squad.

He has bounced on and off their practice squad and has played during regular season games in each of his first two seasons. In fact, he’s gained valuable playing time so far this year.

In 2016, Glenn has appeared in seven games and recorded 26 total tackles, one interception, six pass defenses, and forced a fumble. Pro Football Focus rates him as the No. 100 overall cornerback out of 115 qualifying players.
