The Chicago Bears announced Thursday that they’ve waived DB Jomon Dotson with an injury designation and signed OL Tommy Doles.
Should Dotson clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the Bears’ injured serve list.
Doles, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Northwestern a few weeks ago. He later signed on with the Bears and agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract.
However, Chicago elected to waive Doles earlier in the week.
A senior captain, Doles appeared in 13 games and made 11 starts at right guard for Northwestern.
