The Chicago Bears announced that they have signed second-round pick and sixth-round DT Ego Ferguson and sixth-rounder P Pat O’Donnell to four-year contracts.

This marks the sixth draft pick they’ve signed out of their class of eight. At this point, it seems likely that the remaining two players will be under contract in the next few days.
Ferguson was an interesting mid-round selection given that other defensive tackles such as Louis Nix were still on the board. He hopefully be able to help solidify their run defense next year, which was a major issue for the team in 2012.
