Fry, 24, wound up going undrafted out of South Carolina back in 2017. This was his first opportunity with an NFL team.
Fry joined the Orlando Apollos of the now-defunct AAF this past spring and converted all 14 field goals he attempted with a long of 44 yards.
During his four-year college career, Fry converted 66 of 88 field goal attempts (75 percent) to go along with 161 of 162 extra point tries (99.4 percent) over the course of 51 games.
