Bengals Re-Signing RB Cedric Peerman

Zac Jackson is reporting that the Bengals are re-signing running back Cedric Peerman on Thursday.

Peerman, 30, is a former sixth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2009. He lasted just a few months in Baltimore before he was waived and later claimed by the Browns. Peerman would later catch on with the Lions before eventually being claimed off of waivers by the Bengals in 2010.

Peerman played out the final year of a two-year, $2.13 million contract and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2016, Peerman appeared in six games for the Bengals and rushed for 15 yards on six carries (2.5 YPC) and no touchdowns while contributing on special teams.
