Bengals Sign Draft Picks LB Marquis Flowers & WR James Wright

The Cincinnati Bengals announced that they have signed sixth-round pick LB Marquis Flowers and seventh-round pick WR James Wright.

Flowers is an interesting player, as the Bengals could elect to keep him at linebacker or switch him to safety.  He is 6’3, 231 pounds, and registered a 4.51 40 time.  The Arizona product may project best as a nickel linebacker who plays the second level on passing downs.

Wright did not stand out playing in a deep wide receiving corps at LSU.  He does possess good speed though, but his specialty is playing all phases of special teams.  That is likely where he will make his only impact.
