Bengals Tender Offers To Four Restricted Free Agents

The Bengals announced on Monday they’ve tendered offers to four pending restricted free agents. 

  1. TE Cethan Carter
  2. G Alex Redmond
  3. DT Josh Tupou
  4. S Brandon Wilson

Wilson, 25, was drafted in the sixth-round in 2017 out of Houston by the Bengals.The Bengals waived him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit and signed him to their practice squad once he cleared waivers.

The Bengals re-signed Wilson to their active roster in November, 2017. He re-signed on a one-year deal in Cincinnati in 2019

In 2019, Wilson appeared in 12 games and recorded 21 total tackles and two forced fumbles. He also tallied 625 kickoff return yards and one touchdown.

Redmond, 25, signed with the Bengals in 2016 as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA. He did not make the final roster, but the Bengals signed him to the practice squad for the season.  

Redmond was re-signed by the Bengals on a futures deal for the 2017 season. Cincinnati re-signed Redmond as an exclusive rights free agent in 2019.  

In 2019, Redmond appeared in three games for the Bengals and made two starts for them before going on injured reserve.

Tupou, 25, wound up signing on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado back in 2017. He was on and off of their roster during his rookie season, but managed to make the 53-man roster in 2018.

Tupou re-signed with Cincinnati on a one-year deal for 2019. 

In 2019, Tupou appeared in all 16 games and recorded 27 total tackles, no sacks and one forced fumble.
