Bengals WR John Ross Expected To Miss Few Weeks With Groin Injury

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that Bengals WR John Ross is expected to miss a few weeks with a groin injury that he aggravated during Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

The good news for the Bengals is that they have their bye week coming up after their Week 8 matchup with the Buccaneers.

Ross, 22, is a former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2017. He’s in the second year of his four-year contract worth $17,115,864 and included a signing bonus of $10,587,900 and stands to make base salaries of $1.24 million and $2.02 million over the next two years.

The contract also has a fifth-year option for the Bengals to consider in 2020.

In 2018, Ross has appeared in five games and caught seven passes for 79 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
