Bills Hosting WR Brad Smith For A Visit

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Bills are hosting free agent WR Brad Smith for a visit on Tuesday.

This is the first reported interest in Smith since free agency got under way over a month ago.

Smith, 31,  is a former fourth-round pick of the Jets back in 2006. He spent five years in New York before signing on with the Bills as an unrestricted free agent in 2011.

The Eagles later signed him to a  two-year, $2.7 million contract in 2013. However, his time with the Eagles was relegated to mainly playing on special teams.

In 2014, Smith appeared in 11 games for the Eagles, but caught just a single pass for 11 yards receiving. He also contributed 21 kick return yards. Pro Football Focus has him rated as an above average special teams player.
