Bills Interested In Redskins DC Jim Haslett?

Chris Russell of ESPN Radio 890 reports that a source with knowledge of the situation has informed them that the Buffalo Bills are reportedly one of the two teams interested in Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett.

Mark Maske of the Washington Post reported earlier in the day that “a person with knowledge of the league’s coaching market” informed him that “at least two teams with coaching vacancies” have interest in Haslett.

Maske added that it remains to be seen whether or not Haslett will be brought in for interviews, but people around the league believe he and Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan are “long shots” to receiving head coaching offers.

The Bills interviewed Ken Whisenhunt on Tuesday and Cardinals DC Ray Horton, Oregon coach Chip Kelly, Broncos OC Mike McCoy and Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone appear to all be in the mix.
