The Buffalo Bills announced Monday that they’ve placed rookie CB Ike Brown on the reserve/retired list.
This is a procedural move for the Bills, as it ensures they hold the rights to Brown should he opt to return to the NFL at some point.
Brown, 22, wound up going undrafted out of Florida International back in April. He later signed a three-year, $2.28 million contract with the Bills.
During his college career at FIU, Brown appeared in 36 games and recorded 101 tackles, five interceptions, a defensive touchdown, a fumble recovery and 24 passes defended over the course of four seasons.
