Bills Waive DT Niles Scott From IR With Settlement

The Buffalo Bills officially waived DT Niles Scott from injured reserve with an injury settlement.

Scott, 24, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Frostburg State back in 2018. He was later waived coming out of the preseason and re-signed to the 49ers’ practice squad.

Scott had brief stints with the Broncos and Bengals before the Bills signed him to a one-year contract a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, Buffalo waived him with an injury designation and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.

In 2018, Scott appeared in six games for the Bengals and recorded four tackles.
