Bills Waive P Cory Carter With Injury Designation

The Buffalo Bills announced Sunday that they’ve waived P Cory Carter with an injury designation after he recently suffered a torn ACL.

Carter will revert to the Bills’ injured reserve list on Monday once he clears waivers.

Carter, 24, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Southern back in January of last year. Houston wound up waiving him with an injury designation and was cut after clearing waivers.

The Bills signed him to their practice squad back in December and re-signed him to a futures deal this offseason.

Carter has yet to appear in an NFL game.
