Bills Worked Out OT Laurence Gibson & TE E.J. Bibbs

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Bills brought in TE E.J. Bibbs and OT Laurence Gibson for workouts on Monday.

The Lions actually brought Gibson in a for a workout late last week but did not sign him to a contract following the session.

Gibson, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Cowboys back in May of last year. He lasted just a few months in Dallas before he was among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

The Chiefs later signed him to their practice squad at the start of the year and brought him back on a future/reserve deal in January. However, he was unfortunately placed on waivers shortly after this year’s draft.

Gibson later signed on with the Falcons before he was unfortunately cut loose coming out of the preseason. The Bears later signed him to their practice squad only to cut him loose soon after.

Gibson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
