Joe Studley and Shahan Ahmed of NBC Los Angeles are reporting that former NFL CB Brandon Browner was arrested Sunday following a police chase. Browner is currently in custody, according to La Verne Police Department.

Browner was reportedly wanted kidnapping, false imprisonment, burglary, grand theft auto and violation of restraining order.

This comes just a few weeks after Browner was arrested and convicted in a domestic battery case stemming from a May incident. The prior arrest was for battery and child endangerment and he pled no contest to the charges. Browner was sentenced to probation.

Following the conviction, the court found Browner had violated his probation from a previous case and subsequently ordered him to serve 60 days in jail.

Browner has been arrested multiple times since his playing career ended back in 2015.

Browner, 33, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in 2005. He later played four years in the CFL before signing on with the Seahawks in 2011.

Browner left Seattle for a deal with the Patriots, but spent just one season in New England. After a failed experiment with the Saints, Browner returned to the Seahawks in April of 2016 but was cut loose at the start of the season.

In 2015, Browner appeared in all 16 games and recorded 76 tackles, one interception, a fumble recovery and 10 pass defenses for the Saints. Pro Football Focus rated him as No. 111 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players in 2015.
