Bills Trading QB A.J. McCarron To Raiders

Ian Rapoport reports that the Bills are trading QB A.J. McCarron to the Raiders on Saturday.

McCarron, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bengals back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,401,652 contract andย made a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season and was testing the free agent market for the first time in his career.

McCarron won aย grievanceย against the Bengals that stemmed from the team’s decision to place him on the non-football injury list (NFI) at the start of training camp due to a shoulder issue during his rookie year, which allowed him to test the free agent market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

The Bills later signed McCarron to aย two-year, $10 million contract.

In 2017, McCarron appeared in three games for the Bengals and completed 7 of 14 passes for 66 yards to go along with no touchdowns or interceptions.
