Chris Hagen reports that the Colts and TEย Jack Doyle have reached an agreement on a new contract.
- According to Mike Garafolo,ย the Colts signed Doyle to a three-year, $19 million contract that includes anotherย $2 million in incentives.
Doyle, 26, originally signed on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in Tennessee before he was waived at the start of the 2013 season and later claimed off of waivers by the Colts.
Doyle returned to the Colts on a one-year, restricted tender last season and was in line to be an unrestricted free agent.
In 2016, Doyle appeared in all 16 games for the Colts and caught 59 passes for 584 yards receiving and five touchdowns.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 16 tight end out of 63 qualifying players.
