Breshad Perriman Wants Out Of New Contract With Browns Following Odell Beckham Trade

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that WR Breshad Perriman wants out of the one-year, $4 million contract he agreed to with the Browns following the team’s trade for Odell Beckham Jr.

Perriman signed the contract just hours before the Browns acquired Beckham in a trade with the Giants.

Perriman, 25, is a former first-round pick out of Central Florida by the Ravens in the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent over three seasons in Baltimore before he was cut loose coming out of the preseason.

The Redskins signed Perriman to a contract during the season, but elected to cut him loose soon after. The Browns later signed him to a contract and he finished out the year in Cleveland.

In 2018, Perriman appeared in 10 games for the Browns and caught 16 passes for 340 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
