Broncos Officially Place DL Adam Gotsis On IR, Promote OT Quinn Bailey

Mike Klis of 9 News reports that the Broncos have officially placed DL Adam Gotsis on injured reserve and promoted OT Quinn Bailey to their active roster.

Gotsis was lost for the season last week after suffering ACL and meniscus injures that required him to undergoing surgery.

Gotsis, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Broncos back in 2016. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $3.9 million contract and set to make a base salary of $986,987 for the 2019 season.

Gotsis is in line to be an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career next year.

In 2019, Gotsis appeared in nine games for the Broncos and recorded 16 tackles, no sacks and two pass defenses.
