Broncos Place S Su’a Cravens On IR, Re-Sign WR Isaiah McKenzie

Mike Klis of 9 News reports that the Broncos have placed S Su’a Cravens on injured reserve Sunday and re-signed WR Isaiah McKenzie.

  • James Palmer confirms that Cravens is headed to injured reserve, but adds that he’s expected to undergo another knee surgery.

Cravens, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Redskins back in 2016. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $4.430 million contract that included $2.523 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $450,000 and $651,408 over the next two years of the agreement.

The Redskins traded Cravens to the Broncos back in March.

In 2016, Cravens appeared in 11 games for the Redskins and recorded 34 tackles, one sack, an interception and five pass defenses. Cravens was limited to playing 294 total snaps last year.
