The Denver Broncos have ruled out CB Champ Bailey for Week 2’s game against the Giants.
Reports from earlier in the week suggested that there was a chance that Bailey could be back in time for this weekend’s game, but apparently that was a little too optimistic. Bailey has been dealing with a foot injury that was initially described as being pretty serious.
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Chris Harris both had very solid games for the Broncos defense last week with Bailey sidelined, but they’ll have a much harder test matching up with Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle.
