Broncos Waive Rookie OL Sam Carlson

The Denver Broncos have placed rookie OL Sam Carlson on waivers Monday to make room for newly signed DL Henry Melton, according to Troy Renck.

Carlson, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Colorado State back in May. He signed on with the Titans a few days later, but was cut loose in late July.

The Broncos later signed him to a contract less than a week later.

During his senior year at Colorado State, Carlson started all 13 games on their offensive line, appearing at both center and left guard.
