Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Browns have claimedย LB Jeremy Cash off of waivers from the Giants on Wednesday.
The Browns waived LBย Deon Kingย in a corresponding move.
Cash, 25, signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Duke back in May of last year. He is in the second year of a three-year, $1.62 million contract and stands to make base salaries ofย $540,000 and $630,000 over the next two years of the agreement.
The Panthers placed Cash on injured reserve a few months ago before being waived with a settlement soon after. Cash had a brief stint with the Giants.
In 2016, Cash appeared in eight games for the Panthers and recorded six total tackles.
