According to Nate Ulrich, Wills is a high-risk close contact and can return to play Sunday if he continues to test negative.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Wills, 21, was drafted by the Browns in the first round out of Alabama in 2020. He signed a four-year, $19,702,911 rookie contract that includes an $11,889,390 signing bonus.
The contract includes a fifth-year for the Browns to pick up for the 2024 season and is fully guaranteed.
In 2020, Wills has appeared in 14 games for the Browns and started all 14 at left tackle. He’s rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 66 tackle out of 83 qualifying players.
