The Cleveland Browns announced that they have promoted C Javon Patterson from their practice squad to the active roster and placed S Jovante Moffatt on the COVID-19 list.

Moffatt, 23, signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Middle Tennessee State following the draft this past April. He was waived coming out of training camp and re-signed to Cleveland’s practice squad before getting promoted in September.
In 2020, Moffatt has been active for nine games but has not recorded any statistics.
During his five-year college career, Moffatt recorded 312 total tackles, including five for a loss, two forced fumbles, one recovery, five interceptions and 12 pass defenses in 43 career games.
