The Cleveland Browns have signed first-round CBย Denzel Ward to a four-year rookie contract, according to GM John Dorsey.

Ward, 21, was taken with the No. 4 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft by the Browns. According to OverTheCap.com, Ward receives a four-year, $29,283,338 contract that includes a $19,376,972 signing bonus.
The contract includes a fifth-year option for the Browns to pick up in 2021.
During his four-year college career, Ward recorded 67 total tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions, and 24 pass defenses.
