Browns Sign Second-Round DE Emmanuel Ogbah To A Four-Year Deal

The Cleveland Browns announced Thursday that they have agreed to terms with second-round DE Emmanuel Ogbah.

Cleveland still has some work to do in regards to their 2016 draft class, considering that there are still seven draft picks unsigned following this move.

Ogbah, 22, was taken with the No. 32 overall pick by the Browns. At the start of day two, reports indicated that teams including the Cowboys were trying to trade up for pass rushers including Ogbah. However, the Browns elected to stay where they were and grab another edge rusher for their defense.

According to OverTheCap.com, Ogbah receives a four-year contract worth $6,609,640 to go along with a signing bonus of $3,007,012.

During his three-year college career at Oklahoma State, Ogbah recorded 133 tackles, 35.5 tackles for a loss, 26.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, two recoveries and nine pass defenses.
