The Browns will need to make a roster move as they’re currently at the 10-man limit. Here’s how their practice squad looks right now:
- OL Mike Liedtke
- OL Dan France
- QB Kevin Hogan
- DB Ed Reynolds
- CB Trey Caldwell
- LB Scooby Wright
- RB Terrell Watson
- WR Josh Boyce
- TE E.J. Bibbs
- DT Gabeย Wright
Mathews, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in May. He was set to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season, but he was unfortunately waived in the final week of the preseason.
During his college career, he caught 152 passes for 2,083 yards (13.7 YPR) and 24 touchdownsย over the course of 41 games.
