Buccaneers Place S John Lowdermilk On Reserve/Retired List

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that they’ve placed S John Lowdermilk one the reserve/retired list on Tuesday.

This comes just a few weeks after the Buccaneers claimed him off of waivers from the Vikings.

Lowdermilk, 24, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa back in May of last year. He was waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the Vikings practice squad towards the end of the year.

Minnesota brought him back on a future/reserve contract before cutting him loose on two weeks ago.

Lowdermilk has yet to appear in an NFL game.
