Buccaneers Re-Sign LB Devante Bond To One-Year Deal

Jenna Laine of ESPN reports that the Buccaneers have re-signed LB Devante Bond to a one-year contract on Tuesday.

Bond, 25, is a former sixth-round pick by the Buccaneers in the 2016 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma. He was entering the third year of his four-year, $2.48 million rookie contract when Tampa Bay waived him with an injury settlement last year.

However, the Buccaneers re-signed Bond in October after he was fully recovered from plantar fasciitis. He was in line to be a restricted free agent this offseason.

In 2018, Bond appeared in 11 games for the Buccaneers and recorded 21 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
