Jenna Laine of ESPN reports that the Buccaneers have signed WR Bernard Reedy to their practice squad on Tuesday.
According to Laine, the Buccaneers are still expected to make a series of moves involving receivers this year after they lost WR Cecil Shorts to a devastating knee injury and Adam Humphries suffered a concussion.
The Buccaneers will need to make a roster move as they’re currently at the 10-man limit. Here’s how their practice squad looks right now:
- Sย Isaiah Johnson
- DT Channing Ward
- TE Tevin Westbrook
- WR Donteea Dye
- WR Josh Huff
- G Kyler Kerbyson
- G Michael Liedtke
- DB Cody Riggs
- WR Myles White
- DT Rodney Coe
Reedy, 24, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo back in 2014. He was unfortunately among their roster cuts that year, but later signed on to their practice squad and returned on a future/reserve contract.
The Buccaneers would later give Reedy a shot this past February when they signed him to a future’s deal. However, he was waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason as they cut their roster down to 53 players.
Tampa Bay later waived him fromย injured reserve with an injury settlement.
Reedy has yet to appear in an NFL game.
