Buccaneers Waive DB Reese Fleming From Injured Reserve

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially waived DB Reese Fleming from injured reserve on Friday.

Fleming, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia back in May of last year. The Buccaneers waived him with an injury designation during the preseason and cut him loose a few days later.

Fleming signed on to the Bucs’ practice squad in November and returned to Tampa Bay on a futures contract this past January. Unfortunately, the Buccaneers waived Fleming with an injury designation in June and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.

During his college career, Fleming recorded 78 tackles, two tackles for a loss, an interception, two forced fumbles, a recovery and 15 pass defenses over the course of 27 games.
