Cardinals Re-Sign ERFA OT Justin Murray

According to Darren Urban, Cardinals OT Justin Murray has signed his exclusive rights free agent tender. 

This move is just procedural after the Cardinals tendered Murray as an ERFA earlier this offseason and will keep the young tckle in Arizona for the 2020 season. 

Murray, 26, wound up signing gon with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent back in 2016. He lasted just over a year in Denver before he was signed to the Buccaneers’ practice squad.

Murray had brief stints with the Saints and Bengals before the Raiders claimed him off waivers at the start of the 2018 season. He returned to Oakland last April on an exclusive rights contract but was waived and claimed by the Cardinals coming out of the preseason.

In 2019, Murray appeared in 14 games for the Cardinals and made 12 starts. He was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 53 offensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players.
