The Arizona Cardinals announced Thursday that they’ve waived LB Keishawn Bierria and DL Lyndon Johnson.
Johnson, 25, was signed by the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati in 2018. He was unfortunately released at the end of the preseason during final roster cuts.
Johnson caught on with the Jaguars’ practice squad and was signed to the active roster late in the season. From there, he returned to Jacksonville last summer but was waived at the start of the regular season.
Johnson had brief stints with the Titans and Colts before signing on to the Cardinals’ practice squad last year. Arizona brought him back on a futures contract this past January.
In 2018, Johnson appeared in three games and recorded two total tackles, one tackle for loss and no sacks.
