Chargers OLB Jerry Attaochu Out For Season With Broken Foot

Michale Ghelken of the Union-Tribune reports that Chargers OLB Jerry Attaochu is out for the season after he broke his right foot during Sunday’s win over the Texans.

It seems like every week we’re covering a Chargers’ player who’s out for the year. The Chargers will likely place Attaochu on injured reserve in the coming days and sign someone to their roster.

Attaochu, 23, was taken in the second round of the 2014 draft by the Chargers. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $4,203,100 contract and stands to make base salaries of $802,100 and $993,150 over the next two years.

In 2016, Attaochu appeared in eight games for the Chargers and recorded 11 tackles, two sacks and no interceptions.
