Chargers Release LB Reggie Walker, Free Up $1M Cap Space

Michael Gehlken of the Union-Tribune San Diego reports that the Chargers have released LB Reggie Walker.

Walker, 28, signed a two-year, $1.795 million contract with the Chargers back in March of last year. He would have made a base salary of $1,000,00 for the 2014 season.

According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Walker will free up $1 million in cap space while creating $160,000 in dead money.

In 2014, Walker appeared in 11 games for the Chargers and recorded 12 tackles.
